About Editor’s
Dr. Nandeshwarappa B. P. M. Sc., Ph.D.
He obtained his Ph.D. degree from Kuvempu University, Karnataka, India. He was a Postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Fine Chemicals, East China University of Science and Technology, Shanghai. After Postdoctoral Research he moved to the Multinational Pharmaceutical Company Bangalore, where he worked as Research Associate for nearly 3 years. He has published many scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals and presented his research papers at national and international conferences, seminars, and workshops. He has edited 6 books, authored 10 specialized books, and 27 book chapters. He has guided 55 dissertations for Postgraduates and currently guiding for Ph.D. Scholars. He served as a member of the Board of Studies, Board of Examination, and different responsibilities at the university level. He is currently working as and Chairman and Associate Professor at the Department of Studies in Chemistry, Davangere University, Davanagere, Karnataka, India.
Dr. Sadashiv S. O., M. Sc., M. Phil., Ph.D., FSSE.
He is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Studies in Food Technology, Davangere University, Davanagere, Karnataka. He has more than 11 years of teaching / Research Experience. He has published various research articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals, and also, he has published 117 book chapters, 2 Books/Monographs, and edited 9 books. He has secured two times Young Scientists Awards, one Gold Medal award for research contributions in the field of Microbiology from various academic organizations, and received Appreciation Award from the Zoological Society of India (ZSI) he also has the Fellowship of Society for Science and Environment. His thrust areas of research are Dairy Microbiology, Environmental Microbiology, and Food Technology.
Dr. Sharangouda J. Patil, M.Sc., B.Ed., Ph.D., PDF., FSSE.
He was born and brought up in a farming community. Currently, he is working as an Associate Professor at, the Department of Zoology, NMKRV College for Women (Autonomous), Bengaluru, India. Dr. Patil completed his Masters (II Rank) in Zoology, subsequently, he completed his Doctoral studies at Gulbarga University, Gulbarga in 2007. Thereafter he completed a Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship (PDF) in a World Bank-funded project at the ICAR-reputed “National Institute of Animal Nutrition and Physiology”, Bangalore. Currently, in his academic and research career, he has published more than 87 research articles, 17 edited books, 36 book chapters, 5 technical bulletins, 2 patents, and several other technical articles in national and international journals. Dr. Patil is also working as an Editor in Chief, Editorial Board Member, Advisory Editorial Member, and Reviewer for more than 45 journals.
Dr. Sandeep Chandrashekharappa, M.Sc., Ph.D.
Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Medicinal Chemistry, National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER-R) Raebareli (An Institute of National Importance, Govt. of India) Since March 2021. Worked as a Principal Investigator (DST Young Scientist), at Institute for Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine, Bangalore-560065 from Sept 2015 to March 2021. Sandeep obtained his M.Sc., and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry from Kuvempu University Shimoga. He has published more than 90 papers to his credit in peer-reviewed journals indexed in SCI, PUBMED, Scopus, and UGC-approved lists of journals and he filed/ published more than 22 national and international patents. In recognition of their scientific merit, he was awarded 2019 the prestigious Gandhian Young Technological Innovation Award (GYTI 2019 Award) from Govt. of India and the Best Researcher International Award.
