The author has been actively involved in higher education teaching and research for more than 17 years. Professor Sudipta Kumar Sil has guided more than 30 Masters Dissertations, 1 M. Phil, and 2 Ph.D. degrees also been awarded under his supervision and 4 scholars are working under his guidance. He has authored more than 40 research articles and 5 books; his expertise in the field of research encompasses Cytogenetics, Plant Breeding, Plant Tissue Culture, Algal Culture & Biotechnology.
