Nomenclature of Datastreams, Mining Strategies, Concept Drift and Research Objectives

Streaming data is one of the primary sources of what is known as big data. While data streams and big data have gotten a lot of attention in the recent decade, many research methodologies are often intended for well-behaved controlled problem settings, overlooking major obstacles given by real-world applications. The eight open difficulties for data stream mining are discussed in this book. Our goal is to discover gaps between present research and useful applications, to highlight unresolved issues, and to create new data stream mining research lines that are relevant to applications.

Annaluri Sreenivasa Rao holds a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Sri Venkateshwara University. Presently he is working as a Asst. Professor in the department Information Technology, VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology. Hyderabad. He has 20 years of Teaching experience, He Published and Presented papers in National and International Journals, Conferences, Seminars. His research interest includes Text Mining, Machine Learning, Software Engineering etc. He is a member of various Professor Bodies.

Dr. M. Rudra Kumar

Madapuri Rudra Kumar holds a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, India. Presently he is working as a Professor & Head, in Computer Science & Engineering department, Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Sciences. Rajampet. He has 16 years of Teaching experience, He Published and Presented papers in National and International Journals, Conferences, Seminars. His research interest includes Software Engineering, Data Mining, Machine Learning, etc. He is a member of various Professor Bodies.

Dr. Kalli Srinivasa Nageswara Prasad

Kalli Srinivasa Nageswara Prasad is a professor of Computer Science and Engineering Department in Sasi Institute of Technology and Engineering, Tadepalligudem affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh. He received his Ph.D. in Data Mining from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupathi. He obtained M.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from JNTUK Kakinada, M.S. degree in Software Systems from BITS-Pilani, AMIE in Computer Science and Engineering from Institution of Engineers(India). He has more than 20 years of teaching experience. He has published around 21 research papers in reputed National & International journals and attended many workshops and conferences. Many of the students have guided in their projects & thesis. His research interests are Data Mining & Big Data. He is a life member of ISTE & IEI.

Dr. Kadiyala Ramana

Kadiyala Ramana is currently working as Associate Professor in Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Sciences (Autonomous), Rajampet, Andhra Pradesh, India. He obtained his B.Tech. in IT from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, India, M.Tech. in IT from Sathyabama University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India and completed his Ph.D in SRM University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He has more than 14 years of experience in teaching. He has published more than 50 international/national publications. Currently, his areas of research.
