Residual ridge resorption is a complex biophysical process and a common occurrence following the extraction of teeth. It is the most dramatic during the first year after tooth loss followed by a slower but more progressive rate of resorption thereafter. About Authors

Postgraduate Student, Dept. Of Prosthodontics, People’s Dental Academy, Bhopal. Being an active member of Indian Prosthodontics Society, he actively participates in all its endeavours. He has 2 National publications to his credit. He has keen interest in Implantology and its related research work.
Dr. Harsh Mahajan
He is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Prosthodontics Crown & Bridge and Implantology at Peoples’ Dental Academy, People’s University, Bhopal. MP. He has done his Post Graduation from Dr. D. Y. Patil Dental College Pimpri Pune in the year 2008. He has done Fellowship in Forensic Odontology. He has more than 20 National and International Publications to his credit. He has more than 12 years of teaching and clinical experience. He has an interest in cast partial dentures, maxillofacial prostheses, and implants.
Dr. Kirti Somkuwar
She is currently working as Reader in the Department of Prosthodontics Crown & Bridge and Implantology at Peoples’ Dental Academy, People’s University, Bhopal, MP, India.
She has more than 10 years of diverse experience as a Clinician, Academician, Researcher, and Administrator with significant achievement in developing dental care strategies in Prosthodontics & Crown and Bridge. |
