Dr. Amal I. Khalil is Professor in the Department of psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing at Menoufyia University, Shebin-Elkom, Egypt. She has many academic accomplishments to her credit having been educated from renowned institutions like Applied sciences university, at Jordan, King Saud Bin Abdelaziz University for health sciences, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. She has various degrees and diplomas to her credit, BSc, MSc, and Ph.D. Dr. Khalil had been promoted as a Professor of Psychiatry and mental health nursing in 2020 by Supreme Council of Universities, Cairo University, Egypt. She has Post Graduate Diploma Certificate in individual and family counselling Programme, Egypt. Prof. Amal Khalil is an avid researcher and a keen administrator having published more than 45 research papers, three chapters and books in renowned journals and presented papers in more than 25 national and international conferences and seminars. For her outstanding academic achievements, she has been conferred with many awards, recognitions and appreciations many times for her teaching activities, community, and social contributions. Based on her research experiences she is nominated as a reviewer to the Journal of Horizon Research Publishing, USA, International Journal of Nursing and Clinical Practices and international journal of research in nursing, and many other journals, also has membership in many editorial boards of international nursing and psychological journals. As a researcher, she is interested in conducting applied research, psychosocial interventions, child and adult psychiatry, Nursing Care of Children and their Families, Family Health and handicapped Children Protection and Simulation in psychiatric nursing practices. In addition to teaching and research activates, she worked as a psychotherapist and counsellor for psychiatric disorders at a private practice in Egypt. And had membership in APNA (American Psychiatric Nurse Association), family and child safety program related to National Guard health affairs, Saudi Arabia, and KAFA institution for smoking and addiction management, KSA.
