Dr. Naveen Kumar

Dr. Naveen Kumar is an Assistant professor working in Plastic Surgery Department at Lady Hardinge Medical College and also associated with Smt. Sucheta Kriplani Hospital, New Delhi, India. He completed his MBBS at Vardhman Mahavir Medical College & Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi in the year 2005-2011 and MS (Department of General Surgery) with research thesis on “Comparative study of stapled hemorrhoidectomy under local anesthesia vs. spinal anaesthesia “ from  PGIMER & Dr. RML Hospital, New Delhi in the session 2011-2014. He has also done Mch (Department of Burns, Plastic & Maxillofacial Surgery) with research thesis on “ Evaluation of efficacy of hyperbaric oxygen therapy as an adjunctive therapy in the management of thermal burns” from PGIMER & Dr. RML Hospital, New Delhi in 2019.

Research Interests:

• Special interest is in Traumatic upper and lower limb reconstruction
• Microsurgical cancer reconstruction and breast reconstruction
• Acute burns management and post burn sequelae correction

Dr. Naveen Kumar has published 35 papers so far and also reviewed 5 papers and a book. He is also in the editorial board member of 5 journals.

Dr. Naveen Kumar has professionally registered with Delhi Medical Council and the registration number is DMC/R/06879. He is also a lifetime member of National Academy of Burns India. He has done 15 days observership in the Department of Plastic Surgery, Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu and another 15 days observership in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Oncology, Tata memorial Hospital, Mumbai, India.
