About Author

Dr. Nizar Alabed

He is an Assistant Professor of Management at Liwa College in Abu Dhabi. He teaches various courses, including graduation projects, research methods, project management, operations management, supply chain management, entrepreneurship and small business, strategic management, business law, and international business.
Dr. Nizar earned his Ph.D. in Management from Jordan and holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration, specializing in Health Care Management from the USA. Before joining Liwa College, he held several prominent roles, including Assistant Professor, Health Insurance Director, and Hospital Administrator at Jordan University and its Hospital, where he worked for over 15 years. He also worked in Saudi Arabia as Assistant Vice President for College Affairs, Head of the Healthcare Administration Department, and Strategic Consultant. Furthermore, he engaged with the World Health Organization (WHO) as Director of Unit Implementation in Jordan.

Dr. Nizar served as Head of the BA/Management Department at Emirates College of Technology, Liwa College from September 2015 to September 2018, and he has actively contributed to the college’s re-accreditation efforts, international accreditation processes, as well as its academic and research committees. He is also a research reviewer for prominent academic journals, including Human Resource Development Quarterly (HRDQ) and Production & Manufacturing Research.
His research has been widely published in reputable American, British, international, and Arab academic journals, such as Production and Manufacturing Research, Taylor & Francis, American Political Science Education, and the Journal of Public Affairs Education.
